Sudhir Kshirsagar, the President of Global Quality Corp., has over twelve years of professional experience in the fields of information systems, computer graphics, and environmental engineering. He uses a 'Total Quality' approach in applying technology and management skills to exceed the expectations of his customers. He has managed and directed several key projects in his career, and he is specially trained in project management methodologies for information systems development and support. His recent efforts include:

  • Successful design and implementation of Microsoft ACCESS based front-end to a Unix-based ORACLE server through ODBC using a TCP/IP in a 10BASE-T LAN for accessing water quality and other infrastructure data at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base
  • The development of a CD-ROM capable multimedia database using advanced scanning tools and image browser technology for a Fortune 50 client, and
  • Development and implementation of a FoxPro system to interface USEPA's water distribution hydraulics and quality model (EPANET) with a Microstation based infrastructure management system.

He has completed key pieces of work on a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) project sponsored by the USEPA and the Ohio River Valley Water Sanitation Commission (ORSANCO).

As a part of the project, he has developed several Arc/Info databases on a UNIX workstation and written AML programs for spill modeling in the Ohio River Basin that will significantly aid in decision-making.

During his career, Sudhir has made key individual contributions on several projects, and he has managed some large projects very effectively. Some of his relevant experiences include

  • Pioneered the use of Geographic Information Systems
  • Developed a portable Windows based information system for field sales
  • Trained people in the use of 'Total Quality' to exceed customer needs
  • Designed a leading edge sales information system for thousands of megabytes of data
  • Led the development of a Computer Graphics System for Computer Aided Design

Prior to starting Global Quality Corp., Sudhir was working as a Manager for Procter & Gamble where he has made significant contributions over a period of more than five years. His earlier career achievements were with Structural Dynamics Research Corp. and with Gates and Associates. His primary research areas during his doctoral work at University of Illinois, Urbana included environmental impact of agricultural practices, computer modeling for effective planning and designing a transferable discharge permit system for waste load allocation.
